Web Platform & Custom ETL Pipeline

A long-term project architected from the ground up, evolving from a simple blog to a complex, automated content platform. It serves as a real-world sandbox for testing new technologies.

The core of the platform is a custom ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipeline built with Node.js. It extracts data from Google Drive and Blogger APIs, transforms content for the web, integrates with Imagekit.io for image optimization, and loads it into a custom front-end, all served securely via Cloudflare CDN and an Nginx reverse proxy on an Oracle Cloud server.

Secure Note Application

Desktop Application

A cross-platform desktop application designed for secure, encrypted note-taking with cloud synchronization.

The front-end is built using the Godot Engine for a unique, native-like experience. The backend is a custom Node.js server hosted on Oracle Cloud, responsible for user authentication, data encryption, and secure synchronization across devices.

Real-Time Strategy (RTS) Game

Game Development

An independent project to develop a 3D Real-Time Strategy game from scratch. A continuation and evolution of my major university project.

The project involves implementing core RTS mechanics such as base building, resource management, and unit control. Current development is focused on AI for enemy units and implementing advanced pathfinding algorithms. The entire game is being built in the open-source Godot Engine.

Cambrian College Alumni App

Mobile Application Backend

As part of a project at Cambrian College, I was responsible for developing the complete backend system for a new alumni engagement mobile app.

The project involved designing the database schema using MongoDB, building a secure REST API with Node.js for all data operations, and implementing real-time updates and notifications using Server-Sent Events (SSE) to ensure an interactive user experience.
